Portuguese

Portuguese, the fifth most common language in the world, is available as an area of emphasis in the Romance Languages major and as a minor. One of the highlights of majoring in this language at UGA is the immersive Portuguese Flagship Program. At the graduate level, UGA offers a master’s and PhD in Romance Languages with a Portuguese area of emphasis.
