German

A country known for its ingenuity and innovation, Germany is important to the global economy. It’s also a place rich with history, art, music, and literature. Proficiency in German and knowledge of its culture is indispensable for a variety of careers. 

At UGA, German is available as a major and minor, with electives available to students in other disciplines; a German-Engineering dual degree is also available.  At the graduate level, UGA offers a master’s in German.
