Dr. Diane Miller

As Director of Student Academic Services, I oversee the Office of Academic Advising, the Graduation Certification Office, and the Office of Transfer Academic Services in Franklin College. I represent Franklin College on a variety of campus-wide committees and work to support student success across the college and the university.

I work with the Academic Standards Committee in the Franklin College, which responds to student appeals at the college level. My office provides retention advising services for students placed on or returning from academic dismissal, processes grade changes and late add requests, and works with the Educational Affairs Committee of the Office for the Vice President for Instruction to represent Franklin College in matters of student petitions and appeals.

I work closely with the Office of the Vice President for Instruction, the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs, Financial Aid, Undergraduate Admissions, and the academic departments in the Franklin College. I also collaborate with professional advisors and faculty advisors throughout the Franklin and UGA advising communities. My office coordinates nominations for a range of student awards and honors, including the Dean's List, Who's Who Among American College Students, Leadership UGA, Rotary, the Regents Opportunity Scholarship, and Blue Key.
