Join the Institute of Native American Studies to learn about the Native Graves Protection & Repatriation Act with the Office of Research Integrity and Safety and the Laboratory of Archaeology. 

The talk will cover fundamental aspects of the law, what UGA is doing to support NAGPRA compliance, and the importance of tribal consultation. The University of Georgia's Laboratory of Archaeology has been lauded as a model example for best practices as institutions work toward compliance with this federal law.
