Innovation and entrepreneurship at UGA will be celebrated at the Thinc. Fall Showcase.
Participants can drop by to watch the Accelerator pitch competition, during which student businesses will compete for $5,000 in seed funding. Projects from UGA’s first hackathon also will be available to be played with. In addition, students will connect with other creative students from across UGA at a club fair, and three UGA students representing Franklin College of Arts and Sciences and the Terry College of Business will be pinned as NSF University Innovation Fellows. Light refreshments will be served.
Thinc. is a UGA initiative that is building a community of innovators and entrepreneurs by connecting students across colleges, faculty across disciplines and alumni across the world. It offers a variety of venues where students and the UGA community can come together to learn, experiment and test ideas together.
