Make an appointment with the new Internship and Career Coordinator

By:
Christine Lasek-White

As the Internship and Career Coordinator for the Humanities in the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences at UGA, I serve the departments of Classics, Comparative Literature and Intercultural Studies, English, Germanic & Slavic Studies, History, Linguistics, Philosophy, Religion, and Romance Languages.  I also work with students affiliated with the African Studies Institute, the Center for Asian Studies, the Institute of Native American Studies, and the Latin American and Caribbean Studies Institute.

If any of this describes you, and you’re thinking about internships or jobs you might pursue after college, we should talk!

I am available to meet one on one to: discuss possible jobs/careers; help you find positions to apply for; look over résumés, cover letters, or other job materials; let you know about other career resources available to you at the University of Georgia.

I am available Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.  Email me to make an appointment: cmlwhite@uga.edu

I am also hosting drop-in hours on Thursdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.  Drop-in hours will be held in Gilbert Hall, Joe Brown, LeConte Hall, Peabody Hall, as well as Park Hall.  See here for the complete schedule and locations.

I am excited to help you find internships/jobs you’ll be excited about!  Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me!
