• Chenee Tracey, a third-year Honors student and Foundation Fellow from Lawrenceville pursuing a combined bachelor's/master's degree in international affairs and international policy in SPIA, who was awarded a Boren Scholarship to study Portuguese in Florianopolis, Brazil, before beginning coursework at Universidade de Sao Paulo.
Fantastic opportunies await these students and we take great pride in thier accomplishments. Even from that abbreviated list (bold) of language and cultural programs these students have chosen to complement their academic interests and career tracks, it's clear that, again, any suggestions against language instruction are self-refuting. Kudos and congratulations as well to our foriegn language programs - you bring the world to UGA and pepper these fine students with enthusiasm and confidence to engage the world.
