Julianne Butler

Budget Affairs Specialist

Julianne works closely with the Sr. Director and the business office leadership team to provide project management for the business operations in the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences. She collaborates to plan and monitor progress for advancing the goals and mission of the college.  Specifically, Julianne helps to develop the process and monitor milestones completion of the annual Budget Planning and Salary Setting plan for Franklin College.  She helps identify and set smart and realistic goals, create a series of deliverables and deadlines, identify fiscal and human resource needs, evaluate and coordinate progress and communicate results appropriately for this and other projects. 

Under the direction of the Sr. Director, Julianne is responsible for compiling and maintaining data from multiple sources and transforming it into useful information by developing integrative reporting in response to college needs and to enhance oversight and management of financial information. On request, Julianne will provide historical data on both long- and short-term spending and budget trends in order to build forecasting modeling for budgetary and financial planning.  She collaborates with the business office leadership team, providing data in order to make data driven decisions, monitor unit functions, and implement continuous process improvement plans to support strategic planning. Julianne serves as the functional budget data analyst providing support for end users, and provide data in order for the business office to conduct review and analysis of operations statistics, budget utilization and funding trends. Furthermore, she provides ongoing, periodic, automatic, and ad hoc reports, queries, statistics, and summaries for the business office unit.
