Fran Herin, a Georgia native, earned a BS in psychology from Georgia College and an M. Ed. in guidance and counseling from the University of Georgia.  After working in the mental health field for many years and supervising UGA social work students, Ms. Herin began advising for the Franklin College in 2001.  A senior advisor, Ms. Herin advises all AB degrees, pre-business, and pre-journalism in Russell Hall and from time to time in New College.
