Athens, Ga.  – UGA physical meteorologist-climatologist Marshall Shepherd has created an informative slide show of last week’s downtown Atlanta tornado. The geography professor specializes in urban weather climates and precipitation research.   The slide show documents the radar evolution, storm tracks in Georgia and speculation about an urban effect.
