UGA Wind Symphony Concert

Wind Symphony Trittico
Hodgson Concert Hall

Under the direction of Jaclyn Hartenberger, the UGA Wind Symphony will perform the third concert of the 2018-2019 season in Hodgson Concert Hall on Wednesday, November 14, at 7:30 p.m.

The program celebrates wind band arrangements of music originally from the Medieval and Renaissance historical periods, with unifying themes of the number three. In addition to wind band standards by Vaclav Nelhybel and Ron Nelson, the ensemble will feature the world premiere of a new work by UGA composition professor Dr. Peter Van Zandt Lane.

The Wind Symphony is one of three large wind bands at UGA. This concert is free and open to the public. Live streaming will be available at music.uga.edu/streaming.
